Mobilising trade union action on gender equality in the transport industry

The ETF launches a one-year EU-funded project aimed to guide and mobilise trade union action to:

make the transport industry a more attractive workplace for women
eliminate the risk of gender inequality at work

ETF affiliates from all transport sectors across the EU Member States and Candidate countries - women and men - are expected to participate, exchange experience and good practice, and debate on the best way to achieve these aims.

2007 is the European Year of Equal Opportunities for All.
