Organising workshop for unions targeting DHL

DHL workers from around the world will be teaming up to exchange information and build strategies for organising at a meeting in Luxembourg next month.
The workshop, organised by the ITF and UNI, will be held on 18-19 November. The event is designed to give affiliated unions the practical tools to set up organising plans, build union structures and develop campaign strategies to target DHL workers. It is hoped that this will form part of an ongoing programme of work towards a global agreement on workers’ rights across DHL.
ITF Assistant General Secretary Stuart Howard said, “Both the ITF and UNI affiliates are already engaged in various stages of organising activities in DHL and we see this as a great opportunity to use these activities as practical study for the workshop, with the assistance of experienced organisers and strategic organising planners.”
The workshop will be conducted in Danish, English, French, German, Portuguese, Spanish and Swedish. For more information, contact your national office.
